We’re Different and Why That Matters
At True Leaf we are both buyers and sellers of print.
This unique position helps us uncover opportunities for our clients. Opportunities that you might not realize exist.
Our role in the printing industry is commonly known as “print brokers” or “print distributors”. Which means that we buy print and we sell print.
You’re likely familiar with buying print from a print shop, which is a business with a physical location. Or perhaps a big box office store such as Staples or OfficeMax. Print shops are only sellers of print – they are not also buyers.
Benefits of Working with Print Distributors
Our position in the industry delivers many benefits to our customers.
As both a buyer AND a seller of print we understand and appreciate the interests and responsibilities that each side of the purchasing equation face.
As a buyer and a seller of print we share in those shared interests and responsibilities, and we are very skilled at managing print jobs as a result.
For example, we’ll tell you if your print job is not a good fit for any of our partners. A local print shop is rewarded for bringing jobs “in house” – work they cannot produce on their equipment is sent to other shops, usually at increased cost. Instead, at True Leaf we are rewarded for serving you, our customers.
Another benefit we offer our customers is that we sell products manufactured by companies who do not sell to end users. These companies only sell to “the trade”. They eagerly embrace working with a company like ours and as a result we function as an intermediary to direct selling print shops all over the country. That is because our extensive knowledge and experience eliminates the risks that both you and print shops take when working with one another, especially during the very first engagement.
Working with True Leaf also means that your print jobs will be produced by printers who are uniquely suited to the specific types of projects. Those qualifications lead more creative options with paper types and printing techniques, and often to better pricing.

Featured Project – Shipley Energy
“The most successful direct mail postcard campaign ever produced for their company.”
According to the buyer at the time, this post card mailing was the most successful direct mail postcard campaign ever produced by Shipley Energy.
Our company (then known as Marc Laucks and Company) managed the graphic design, printing, and mailing/fulfillment for this project. We also assisted with the formulation of the “offer” (copy writing services).
