On this page we share information about events held throughout the USA that are of interest to our client base. The events listed below are the ones we are attending during the next 12 months. We make a point of attending different events year to year, with the intent of supporting the organizations we value, expanding our network, learning new information, gaining awareness of new ideas and trends, and more.
We may add events throughout the year so check this list periodically. If you would like to connect with us at a specific event, contact us to share those details. We are always happy to schedule meetings with prospective clients at events. For events we’ve attended in previous years, see the links at the bottom of this page.
We share these lists of events with you because you may find an event of value for yourself professionally or personally that you did not know of previously.
2025 Events
Great Homeschool Convention – Ohio (April 24-26, 2025, Columbus, OH)
Great Homeschool Convention is billed as “the homeschool event of the year”. The show takes place in 5 cities in 2025 and features hundreds of workshops and exhibitors. At True Leaf we see a lot of overlap with our clients for the topics of sustainability, regenerative agriculture, homesteading, freedom, and homeschooling – and this event touched on all those topics. We are homeschoolers ourselves, and make a point to attend both large and small homeschooling conferences each year to see who we meet.
Weston A. Price FOUNDATION – Wayne County Local Resource Market (March 8, 2025, RITTMAN, OH)
This event was for a local chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF). While this particular event was focused on local resources serving the Northeast Ohio region, it is an example of the type of WAPF Local Chapter events that occur throughout the country. If WAPF members are your audience, check out their website to connect with your local chapter for things like monthly meetings, education days, and resource fairs. Exhibitors included: organic/sustainable/regenerative farmers, 100% grassfed beef, pastured poultry, alternative healthcare practitioners, retailers, and health product producers.
Food Independence Summit (June 18-19, 2025, Walnut Creek, OH)
The Food Independence Summit – also known as Seed to Spoon – is one of the premier homesteading events in North America. They feature top tier speakers and draw attendees from all over the country. Good event for those who sell products and services to the homesteading community – an audience that has been growing in size in recent years. The event also featured many leading alternative and integrative health and wellness people and products, including a pioneering physician from Germany who works to help those with Lyme disease. This event takes place outside, at a campground in a group of high quality, well-installed and large tents, but keep in mind weather could be a factor. People camped on-site and there are small hotels available close by (it’s in the heart of Amish tourist country in Ohio). If you are familiar with the Amish Family Days events that take place in many Amish communities, this one followed a similar set up.
