About the Project
Janina’s Fine Desserts is a European Bakery and Cafe located in York, Pennsylvania. Owned and operated by chef Janina Turziak who is originally from Poland and trained in the pastry arts in Paris, France.
Her visually stunning as well as delicious signature, special occasion, and custom cakes are a major revenue source for Janina’s. At the time she sold her cakes using a simple handout created in a word processing program. What she really wanted was a cake brochure that matched the quality of the cakes she creates while also giving her customers all the information they needed to make cake choices they would love.
Working with existing professional photography we art directed this project, adding graphic design to match Janina’s creative vision, additional professional photography where needed, and printing services. The final product is a full-color, oversized, gatefold brochure.
